Emirates Golf Club’s second championship golf course opened in 1996 which was named ‘The Wadi’ (Valley) redesigned in 2005 by golf legend Sir Nick Faldo (renamed after him).
Nick Faldo designed a new layout that holds his trademark tees and bunkers with the naturally rugged terrain to deliver the best experience. There are a number of water hazards strategically placed throughout the course to further test golfers. Faldo course allows you to test yourself against variations and challenges of any championship-level course in just the right measure.
No matter if you’re a serious amateur who wants to play on a championship course or you’re simply after a social 9 holes with friends. The Faldo course is famous among both tourists and locals for its challenging and top-notch condition. ‘The Faldo’ has excelled all of its expectations and is considered as one of the finest courses in Dubai.
The course record for the Faldo course is held by Michael Harradine, who shot a 66 during the Men Club Championship Round 1 on 20th January 2012.
You can also experience Night Golf on the Faldo Course.
With demand and appeal in golf continuing to grow in the region, Emirates club came up with the idea of night golf to meet the increased demand by providing thrilling year-round golf regardless of the climate or restless pace of life in Dubai.
