The website, golfindubai.com, was launched at the AGTC – Asia Golf Tourism Convention, held in Danang, Vietnam. The website provides details about courses designed by Ernie Els, Sir Nick Faldo, Colin Montgomerie and Greg Norman. It also includes information about leisure and practice facilities, as well as the hospitality offered in the first class golf courses across the city.
As per the website itself, all the golf courses in Dubai are designed to make your golf more enjoyable, be it state of the art courses, leisure opportunities, or dine-in choices available to the golfers.
Falcon Golf, the mind behind this idea, has come forward with this website with an objective to optimize the benefits golf brings to the city. Falcon Golf is working closely with stakeholders such as the Emirates Golf Federation, Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, and Dubai Sports Council.
The director general of DTMC, Mr. Helal Saeed Almarri, states that Dubai has more courses in the pipeline, which will compliment the world-class courses already available in the city. Due to these reasons, this new website has huge potential to help hit Dubai its target of 20 million visitors by 2020.
