Dubai’s revenue figures were up by 17% for the first 9 months of the year.
Golf has played an opportunist’s role in this success story, as the sport has been largely appreciated in the region. With The Desert Swing consisting of 3 European Tour taking place at the beginning of the season, a lot of heads are turning toward Dubai & Abu Dhabi. All the high quality of courses designed by renowned personalities such as Pete Dye, Robert Trent Jones, Ernie Els, Colin Montgomerie and more, the region is creating ripples in the golfing world. The best part is that tee times are readily available at the courses where the top players appear very often. It is quite possible to bump into famous personalities who enjoy playing weather the region offers throughout the year.
As tourists continue to pour in, Tour operators like us, Travelex Travels and Tours look to offer transparent and reliable service with professional approach. Among other general activities and excursions Dubai is famous for, Golf is being looked at as the sport of the region. To add to the players delight you may experience the lavish clubhouses on the courses. The new aspect of floodlit golf at most of the courses, UAE has acquired its own innovation as compared to the traditional sporting vibe with the Night Golf experience. As the stats suggest, there is no doubt that tourist/visitors will continue to flock into the region, but would you consider Golf as the center of attention during your visit to the Emirates?
